Some advice needed on xvg

Hello, For thepast few years I have been buying xvg at low price (0.003 euro). And then everytime it got pumped I made between x1.5 and x3. Because it launched to almost 0 02 euros this month I started researching a bit and found out it is a pump and dump coin. So I got a few questions.

Is my investment a bad idea everytime? I buy at very low and keep profiting but don’t really know much about crypto.

Why did it shoot up so much last time?

Is there a better way for me to invest?

Is xvg safe to buy or could it go away and make me loose my input?
