We are becoming what we tried to avoid

I am struggling to find the decentralisation in crypto. No one is free to make a project anymore or become a entrepreneur like last bull run you could create anything you wanted but now you need to meet regulations, have seed investors, marketing campaigns, audits, doxxed developers. People only invest in heavily doxxed projects with millions in initial funding. The part of decentralised anonymous innovation in crypto from normal retail investors has gone.

Also the whole point of crypto was to become decentralised free from the government, free from institutions but now the price, the holders the sentiment is all controlled. This bull run has brought very little gains to normal retail investors it’s nothing like last bull run.

This was an inevitable step if crypto was to become mainstream. After denying its usefulness they would want to control it.

Next step is new protocols that circumvent this. Some will work while being regulated, some wont. Some will be a grey area.

What I hope is that it doesnt become fully ilegal for most to exist.
