Optimism on market recovery?

Not the first post like this and doubt I will be the last. This is my first proper bull run, so I am slowly learning the ropes but obviously this is a bit of a rollercoaster. My portfolio has dropped 30% putting me back in the red, I know it is a guessing game, but what is every feeling regarding the market recovery and view for another pump? What are we expecting rather than hoping for in the next 6-12 months?
