I’m planning to invest 5.5k now , looking for feedback on the projects I chose.

Like the title says, I’m planning to invest $5.5k in crypto and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

I first got into crypto in May 2021. At that time, I invested around $3k across ETH, ADA, XRP, AVAX, DOT, MANA, VET, 1INCH, ICP, and a few others. Overall, it was a mistake ,I invested when the alt season was at its peak. I never took profit from any of the coins because there were no profits to take. I’m now sitting at around a 50% loss.

From 2022 until now, I haven’t added any funds to my portfolio, but I’m planning to invest another $5.5k soon, and hopefully add more each month if possible.

The reason behind this decision is that, based on my research, I believe we’re about to enter an alt season. BTC dominance is dropping, and historically, around a year after the halving, we tend to see altcoins perform strongly. On top of that, there’s a lot of hype building around the possibility of an upcoming alt season ,so maybe it’s coming soon.

Now about the projects, after taking some time to research, I’ve come up with this plan for the $5.5k. This time, I’m sticking to as few projects as possible:

• BTC: $2k. I’ve never invested in Bitcoin before, but its performance shows me it will likely keep growing. Still, I believe it’s a bit late to go all in on BTC if I want stronger portfolio performance.
• ETH: $1.3k. Not much to say ,the second strongest crypto out there. It has a great ecosystem, and I already hold about 0.30 ETH.
• LINK: $1k. I believe it has solid potential. There are many real world use cases being tested, and some big names are already using it.
• FET: $1k. This is my higher-risk play, but the current price is attractive, and I think the AI sector could benefit a lot if is implemented properly.

What do you all think? Is this a solid allocation for $5.5k into crypto right now, or should I make some changes?
