Is the next bull run going to be utility-driven instead of hype-driven?
I’ve been thinking a lot about how the last few crypto bull runs were largely fueled by hype—memecoins, NFTs, and “number go up” mentality. But with everything happening in 2025—real-world asset tokenization, CBDCs, Layer 2s maturing, and major institutional interest—I’m starting to wonder:
Will the next bull run finally be driven by actual utility?
Like, will people start using crypto without even realizing it? Will we finally see DeFi protocols used by more than just power users? Or are we still a few cycles away?
Curious to hear what this sub thinks. Is this just wishful thinking, or are we at a real inflection point?
That’s the big question. Feels like the market’s maturing,real utility might finally lead the charge. But let’s be honest, hype always finds a way to sneak in too.
