Is it advisable to hold memecoin?

I am still very new in this industry but very inquisitive so excuse me if this question looks odd to you. Recently i was told to stop trading memecoin because they have no value and will probably go to zero. So i am confuse whether to sell all my memecoin and just focus on bitcoin and altcoin like xrp, eth bnb and bgb which form part of my current holding.
