Down big in crypto

I’m down over 50k in crypto . I’m freaking out . I thought i knew what i was doing and at one point last year i was up almost 100k. I was told “do not sell because this bull run will make you generational wealth.” Now im getting killed . Please tell me there is hope to return and make money by the end of the year ?
