Crypto Wallets and why some are better than others

Always wondered about this; i see videos all the time about which wallets some people think is the best. Ease of use, useability, etc. Then you get into why having one for certain things is better. From what i hear alot of the time people will say Ledger and Trezor are better for long term holdings (big size) while tangem is better for day to day stuff (smaller/intermediate portfolio size) this is the part i don’t understand. All 3 have staking options, i think all 3 support Defi, so why would Ledger for example be better for larger/long term holdings vs Tangem when they essentially do the same thing minus the way they authorize transactions
