What is the best Crypto Platform?

I currently use Coinbase but their high fees when buying crypto are pulling me away. I hate when I buy coins it automatically says I’m at a loss because of the fees.

Is there a Coinbase alternative in America that has cheaper or no fees? But is also legit and safe with the security like Coinbase?
