You have $100, and go 10x, that means you can be able to use $1000 to trade with you having $100,this makes the risk of lossing the fund to increase, if you leveraged it 100x, that means you can go with $10000, but the liquidity is very high. Assuming you have $40000, Bitcoin price is at $40000, if the price go to $5000, that means you still have $5000, but if you leverage it 10x, the whole fund can be liquidated when Bitcoin price reduce to $30000, but if you go for 100x the liquidated price can be $39920. The higher the leverage The higher the risk of losing, but if the trade go the direction you take, the more the leverage the more the profit.
