Daedalus doesn’t sync after days
Hello, I have deleted Daedalus wallet on my laptop after sync got stuck at 90%, and installed it on the pc instead. I retrieved the wallet and now it’s syncing for 2 days straight and only reached 63%. This seems extremely long and nothing like how it originally functioned a mere month ago. What can I do in this situation? Why is this happening all of a sudden?
Daedalus is a fullnode wallet which means you have to sync the whole blockchain. If theres no specific reason you wanna use Daedalus, you can simply use a litewallet like Typhon and use your seedphrase (mostly 24 words) to restore your keys (which grants access to your funds) there.
The amount of people still using Daedalus is shocking. I think it gives a poor experience of the Cardano network.
Perhaps there should be a sticky on this sub, specifically for people who need to hear about lite wallets.
