Hey I’m looking for a safer solution to holding a few coins, as opposed to having them in exchange associated wallets.
I’m interested in a hard wallet that will safely hold keys for storage inside of a safe. But ledgers are expensive & I hear of a few rumors about backdooring.
I also don’t trust many of the tablets or devices on Amazon or eBay. Same issues as ledger plus I’d have to deal with a battery.
Is there any decent normal brand or alternative to a hard wallet for physically storing keys?
Ledger burned their reputation with the Recovery service which undermined previous secuity claims…and the customer data leak.
But I don’t think there is a practical case of the device itself being broken. Lots of scams but with a clean device direct from Ledger (Nano S is fine) then for most people you should be secure if you operate it securely.
