Accidentally sent USDT to TRON network instead of ERC-2

Website processes withdrawals of USDT via ERC-20 network. I accidentally provided them with my TRON wallet address. The withdrawal has now been processed. What happens now? Is there literally any course of action for me to retrieve the funds?

That sounds frustrating. Usually, when you send crypto to the wrong network, it’s pretty tough to recover those funds. You might want to reach out to the support team of the platform you used, but they may not be able to help much since the transaction is on a different blockchain. Good luck, man.

You own your Tron wallet right? Assuming the website withdrew it on the Tron network, it should be in your wallet.

It’s impossible to send to a Tron address on an Ethereum network since their address types are incompatible. So they couldn’t have processed it on-chain if it weren’t anything but the Tron network. If they said otherwise, they’re lying and keeping your assets.

Always send a test transaction first.
