Could we have anything replace BTC?

Foremost, this isn’t a shill post. I’m wondering aloud if there could be any project that could replace Bitcoin. The truth is the world is constantly evolving and no one knows what the next century might bring. We might not all be alive by then, but it is just my thought if BTC will continue to lead the crypto space before I leave this world, or is there a possibility of a revolutionary technology that will replace crypto and DeFi space. Let me know what you think?
