TIFU as a newbie… To a newbie.. I’m still learning

This probably goes without saying but I made the mistake of asking a question on this forum and taking advice in a DM. Both gave me a url to connect my wallet with another wallet I had and was transferring crypto between. It looked like a legit webpage but both url’s were different and I put my secret recover words in the url’s they gave me. Fortunately I only had 1 XRP and 10 BPX in them so both can fight over them.. lol. I deleted my wallets and am starting a new. From a newbie to a newbie don’t accept DM’s especially if they direct you to a url or ask for specific info. Lesson learned.
