Do I have to verify if only using coinbase as a wallet ?!
I’ve been using coinbase (the normal coinbase not the new “coinbase wallet” one) purely as a wallet since years and they never asked me to verify. Now when I login there is a notice at the top that says add a payment method and verify ID.
I haven’t transferred anything out because I’m worried I get locked. I don’t mind verifying but I heard nightmares of people being stuck in verification limbo for months / years
Anyone has this happen to them and where you able to remove your funds without verification ?

If you are using Coinbase Wallet, you don’t need to verify.
If you are using your Coinbase account as a wallet, you might need to verify.
