do you still earn BAT while using browser extensions?

why im asking – Presearch ($PRE) is an extension that works, from a high level perspective, the same as BAT. If no one has a straight answer i will report back to see if i found a glitch in the matrix that allows for concurrent earnings thru the Brave browser+ Presearch extension. lets get this money honey!!
