Help me Understand Market Caps: SOL vs XRP

Im trying to understand how SOL is $250 to XRP’s $1 with a market cap that is only about twice that of XRP’s.

—> Is XRP lacking something that SOL has that prevents it from matching value to market cap with SOL?

Please do not flame me, i am super new to crypto and markets. Just trying to understand how this operates and what the factors are that effect prices.
