How much of your “risk” portfolio do you risk each time?

I have a seperate porfolio of around 1000€ which I use for leveraged trading, I know fully well that it is discouraged in most parts of reddit, and I understand why, its gambling. But for now I’ve been profitable for 2 months while risking 10% of my portfolio per trade. I do not conduct my own analysis, I get signals off of a telegram group, but I wonder should I risk less?

If I open a leveraged position in BTC or ETH, I can risk about 5% of my trading deposit. In all other cases, no more than 1-2%

Nah it’s fine who cares, crypto is for risk not for pussying up.

As long as you don’t move anything into that account and lose it all

Most ppl are gambling whether or not they use leverage. Leverage (futures) just allows bigger bets.

If used correctly, futures allow you to have LESS risk than spot trading.

The ability to go short is what makes futures extremely useful for reducing risk.

Most ppl don’t use futures for reducing risk but instead use them to leverage their spot bets, which is mostly a recipe for disaster, but that said, Low leverage Trading majors eg BTC, ETH, SOL (@ 1-3x) is far less risky than spot trading or hodling alt coins.
