How to prepare for Vasil hard fork?

Sorry to ask, but I’m having trouble understanding how the hard fork will work… and I have a feeling a lot of other holders are wondering the same thing.

Is there anything that ADA holders have to do ahead of the hard fork? Is there a snapshot anything we should be aware of? Is it alright if our ADA is staked when the hard fork occurs?

If I’m understanding the combinator concept correctly, my impression is that after the hard fork we’ll have the same amount of ADA in the same wallets we held them in prior. Correct or incorrect?
