Is it possible for Brave to see what websites you view and passwords you type in on the Brave browser?
Of course, they are not doing that but I just wonder if it is possible if someone with nefarious intentions got access somehow.

Yes, it is possible, if the dev team was compromised. In its current state, no. You can verify it yourself by using a web debugging tool like Fiddler.
