I’ve been in crypto for a while, but this blew my mind when I saw on Jupiter X’s handle that: you can now trade actual stocks like Apple, Tesla, and Nvidia directly on the Solana blockchain. Not meme tokens pretending to be stocks, but legit tokenised shares backed 1:1 by the real thing.
Platforms like Kraken, Bybit, and some Solana DeFi protocols (Kamino, Raydium, Jupiter, etc.) are already listing these tokenised assets (called xStocks). You can hold them in your wallet, trade 24/7, and even use them in DeFi pools. Imagine using Tesla shares as collateral for a loan or yield farming with Apple.
As someone tired of TradFi’s gatekeeping, delayed settlement, high fees, and limited hours, this feels like a serious level-up. No middlemen, no broker, no paperwork. Just click, confirm, and you own it (on-chain).
I’m especially bullish on what this means for people in countries with limited access to U.S. markets. Now, anyone with a Solana wallet can get exposure to global equities without needing a Robinhood or E*TRADE account.
Of course, there are still questions about regulation and how “real” the ownership is, but honestly… this is probably the closest we’ve come to an Internet Capital Market.
If you’ve tested this or are using tokenized stocks on Solana, how’s the experience?
Curious to hear how the pricing, liquidity compare to traditional platforms.

Keep an eye on StrikeX too.
Kraken’s xStocks are tokenised stocks backed 1:1 by real shares, issued by Backed Finance on Solana. You can trade them 24/5 on Kraken or 24/7 on Solana DeFi. They’re not synthetic, but you don’t get voting rights or cash dividends. Dividends are reinvested into more tokens. Think of it as price exposure with real backing, but limited shareholder perks.
