What do we think will be the next crypto narrative/sector focus in 2026?

I keep hearing about rwa, ai, and privacy as the major crypto sectors that the market may be heading towards. I’m curious what people think will be the one that gets focused on? I definitely seen quite a lot on rwa tokens, as many of the big investment banks like Blackrock is investing and many more. Though AI is been getting quite a trend this year, and will grow much more in 2026. But definitely privacy is a major concern for many. Also, do you guys think meme coins will still be good next year?

IMO 2026 won’t be about hype-heavy altcoins. If the alt market stays weak or choppy, capital usually rotates to assets people already trust. That’s why tokenized stocks and tokenized gold could quietly become a bigger narrative.

RWA is evolving beyond bonds into things like Apple, Nvidia, ETFs, and gold exposure on-chain. When risk appetite is lower, people tend to prefer price exposure to real-world assets over experimental L1s or new meme launches. Tokenized gold also makes sense as a hedge if macro uncertainty continues.

AI will still matter, but expectations are higher now. Privacy comes in waves. Memecoins won’t disappear, but liquidity will likely concentrate into fewer names.

Some exchanges, like BingX and Kraken, already list these different asset types side by side, which makes this kind of rotation more practical in a mixed market.
