Which exchange are you using?

I definitely need a new exchange. Usually I used to use Kraken. But today they seriously took my money hostage in silence, not even a notification. Its horrendous.

What happened? Well I deposited money to my kraken account via SEPA Instant Transfer..my usual experience with this was that I execute the order and 5-15 minutes later it was credited on my kraken account.

Not this time though. Noooo. After 2 hours I got worried and contacted the support. Little did I know apparently all of a sudden after 7 years being a customer my proof of funds wasn’t sufficient anymore and kraken just took my funds hostage – in silence – no warning, no notification not even a mail that told me I have to provide updated documentation. Nada!

Now. I did provide a current payslip.now. And now it’s stuck in verification alongside my money and everything that is still in open positions.

Get rekt kraken. I seriously hope my funds get credited asap and I don’t have to sue to get my shit back.

Anyhow, back to my main question: which exchange do you use and trust? Is kraken still “the best” despite their unbelievable downgrade in user-friendlyness and increase in scummy scam feeling?

Enlighten me – please.

I don’t want anyone including myself to experience shit like this ever again in the future. Thanks for coming to my Tedtalk (more like Ted rant)
