Why is the BTC fee so high?
Just tried to send or convert BTC to another wallet, and my Trust Wallet has said this transaction will cost about $20 USD. When did BTC fees begin to skyrocket? I don’t remember seeing BTC transfer fees this high before.
When the network use upticks,the fees increase, just wait until there’s a backlog, weeks eating for tx to be confirmed and oh the fees will be astronomical.
It’s why they have been trying to implement side fixes rather than fix the blockchain problems since the ole bch fork.
Wow, looks like we can add high BTC fees to the list of things that are absolutely ruining Thanksgiving.
Blame nothing, btc is working as intended. If you don’t like it just use something else.
It’s ridiculous, i wanted to send 50 bucks but the fee was gonna be 17 dollars. whats the point of using bitcoin i thought it was suppose to be better and faster.
