Will Ethereum ever flip Bitcoin?

A few years ago the “flippening” was a popular narrative in defi and crypto, a lot of people believed that $ETH will eventually overtake Bitcoin due to it’s utility and even the SEC was friendlier towards ETH.

In 2024 Bitcoin has outshined ETH, and I see no reason why I should consider buying more Ethereum. So my question is are there any reasons that Eth could still overtake Bitcoin?
