Yoroi mobile app: Are dApp connectivity and in-app browser coming soon?
Yoroi mobile app is the first home for my self-hosted ADA, which I have already staked (in-app).
The app is open-source, secure, looks very tidy, clear and everything is very easy to read. Responsive support with a ticket system is in place and regular updates are provided. Swaps, staking and fiat on/off-ramp are also on board. All pros.
However, I almost couldn’t believe that there is still no integrated option for the mobile app to connect your wallet with dApps and thus participate in DeFi.
Does anyone know if this important feature will be integrated soon or if it is already on Emurgo’s roadmap?
Thank you for asking. Yes, the dapp connector for mobile is very close. We have it in the latter stages of development/testing, and expect it to launch in the near future. Thank you so much for your interest!
I’m not certain where it is, if it is, on their roadmap, but I’d recommend using Begin Wallet if you want a Yoroi-like wallet (both mobile and web browser) with DApp capabilities. Yotoi has been behind for a long long LONG time. Below is a link to a video:
