first time trying crypto futures, what leverage do beginners usually start with?
thinking of trying crypto futures for the first time. not looking to yolo, just want to understand what’s reasonable when you’re starting out. 5x? 10x? or is anything above that just asking for trouble? curious what people here actually did on their first few trades, and what you wish you’d done differently.

I usually go short/long with 2x or 3x leverage. Once the position goes in the right direction, you can take out the margin and increase the leverage on a position that’s already winning. Also you place a stop loss ABOVE your break even to gurantee profits.
