How do you see crypto ever being a sustainable currency when each transaction takes so long?

How do you see crypto ever being a sustainable currency when each transaction takes so long?

And they’ll just start taking longer as the blockchain gets longer and longer. I cant imagine a reliable currency taking hours or days to verify when banks take seconds.

Yes, computers will get better and all that. But I cant see computers getting better to the point that these transfers take seconds. And if they did, they’d also get better to the point of mining all the remaining coins very quickly too, which would definitely change the way we see/interact with crypto.

Look, I’m still new to this space so I’m open to being told that I’m wrong. But I cant see a viable path forward if its not used as a currency to some extent and I cant see it being a currency with these transaction times.

I want to believe in it, but this is my hang-up

Just use: XNO, LTC, XRP among others. The answers are already available but VC and maxis can’t let go of their dinosaur.

Many chains have tx processed in <10 seconds, with instant finality. Crypto is different than btc my friend.
