What are some good insights on getting into crypto?
I’ve been really interested in the crypto world & wanting to learn more so I could start investing eventually. I know somewhat about bitcoin & bitcoin mining but I WOULD also like to know what else is out there & if there really are any tips or mentors that I should be aware of, to get a better insight. Generational wealth is what I’m aiming for. In lameness words what are the first steps that I should be aiming for…?
If you are looking for generational wealth you are going to have to take some uncomfortable risks. The blue chips will make you money but are so far along they aren’t going to make you generational wealth. The key is even if you get in projects that go nowhere create relationships with the legit people in the community. I’ve lost a lot of money on shit projects/scams but have gained access to a lot of valuable connections along the way.
Without getting to into it, here’s a brief list to consider:
Only invest the amount you’re willing to lose.
Pick maybe 2-3 coins (to start with) you want to invest in.
Stay away from meme coins.
Choose an exchange that supports the coins you’ve chosen.
Understand the difference between exchange wallets, hot wallets, and cold wallets.
Be hyper vigilant about security.
