What’s the future of cryptocurrencies apart from speculative trading and gambling

I’ve been in the crypto space for about 5 years now and haven’t used cryptocurrencies for anything apart from trading Was wondering what’s the future of cryptocurrencies apart from speculative trading and gambling

I saw some apps like bitrefill but it’s only gift cards that i don’t even use There’s also cryptoxpress which has a convenient marketplace where I see people selling software dev and design services which sounds interesting but I don’t buy those services

Curious to know what are other people using crypto for

Please share your experience

I’ve used crypto for some freelance gigs (paying and getting paid in USDC mostly), and bought some VPN time and domain names with it.

There are also legit use cases growing in places with unstable fiat systems, like using stablecoins for remittances or just daily transactions in parts of South America or Africa. That’s where the “store of value” or digital cash angle is real, not just theory

rypto as a currency? Other than stablecoins, it doesn’t have a future.

I expect the stable coin market cap it continue to grow as more traditional businesses begin to use it for the cost saving potential. Baked in KYC, message and value at the same time etc.

I expect real world assets to be tokenised at a similar rate.

I am massively long on the infrastructure that enables all of this.
