Is DOT a viable, long term investment after BTC, ETH and LTC?

Hi,

I recently read a post that was asking for a third “blue chip” in the crypto world and it seems like BTC and ETH were the solid, obvious choices. Comments on the post seemed to point to LTC as the third option. After those 3 would DOT be a good choice for the long term?

I like DOT a lot as a long term investment and hold some (not nearly enough) in my portfolio. However, it looks like right now many are presenting SOL as the candidate for a third blue chip crypto project and its price action would seem to indicate as much.

Polkadot is hugely undervalued right now and will have a guaranteed boost in Nov thanks to parachains. Plus staking ftw.

Polkadot is definitely a good long term hold you have to look at the team Gavin wood is the co-creator of Ethereum he has well over 20 years of coding experience & been in crypto for along time hes here to stay.

He also designed DOT specifically to be upgradable & future proof DOT has a very very basic core layer everything can be upgraded and done while its running just this year alone DOT has had over 80 updates while most other chains have had 2 or 3.

Sure! DOT ecosystem will just start now with first parachain auctions. I think in 2024 whole DOT ecosystem / projects will be the hype like ETH ks now.
